Michèle Audette

Michèle Audette is a Canadian senator and a recognized Indigenous leader. She was appointed Associate Deputy Minister of the Secrétariat à la condition féminine du Québec in 2004 and was President of the Native Women's Association of Canada from 2012 to 2015. Most recently, she held the positions of Assistant to the Vice-President, Academic and Student Affairs and Senior Advisor for Reconciliation and Indigenous Education at Université Laval. Her perspective as an Indigenous leader who has been involved in the world of education is essential in order to expand the traditional framework of agroforestry and demonstrate her transformative potential in the management of natural resources and, more broadly, of the territory.
